फिल्मों में विलेन का किरदार निभाने वाले सोनू सूद रियल लाइफ में किसी हीरो से कम नहीं हैं। उन्होंने लॉकडाउन में प्रवासी मजदूरों की बहुत मदद की है। लोगों को उनके घर पहुंचाने के लिए बस, ट्रेन और फ्लाइट का इंतजाम किया है।   सोनू सूद के लोगों के मसीहा बन गए हैं। एक्टर के फैन ने उनके चेहरे और नाम का टैटू अपने हाथ पर बनवाया है।

सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो वायरल हो रहा है जिसमें सोनू सूद ने बताया है कि उनके एक शुभम नाम के फैन ने अपने हाथ पर सोनू के चेहरे का टैटू बनवाया है। वीडियो में सोनू कहते हैं मैं इंडियाज बेस्ट डांसर के सेट पर हूं। यहां पर बहुत मजा आ रहा है। फिर वह अपने फैन शुभम को बुलाते हैं। शुभम अपने हाथ पर बने टैटू दिखाते हैं। इस पर सोनू कहते हैं आपने ऐसा क्यों किया शुभम। ऐसा मत करो मेरे दोस्त। कोई भी ऐसा मत करो। आप मुझसे बहुत प्यार करते हैं लेकिन प्लीज ऐसा मत करिए।

सोनू सूद आजादी स्पेशल एपिसोड में इंडियाज बेस्ट डांसर शो में गए थे। शो की एक टीम बिहार की एक महिला के पास गई थी। जिसकी लॉकडाउन में सोनू सूद ने की थी। उस महिला ने अपने बेटे का नाम सोनू चौधरी रखा है। महिला ने वीडियो कॉल पर सोनू सूद से बात की और बताया कि उन्होंने अपने बच्चे के नाम सोनू रखा है साथ ही बच्चे की झलक भी दिखाई। इसे देखकर सोनू सूद काफी इमोशनल हो गए। सोनू ने इंडियाज बेस्ट डांसर के सेट पर मलाइका अरोड़ा के साथ मुन्नी बदनाम हुई पर डांस भी किया।

हाल ही में सोनू ने सोशल मीडिया पर लोगों से जरुरतमंद लोगों की मदद करने की बाकि लोगों से अपील की है। सोनू सूद ने ट्वीट में लिखा, “आपसे मेरा विनम्र निवेदन है, जो लोग जरुरमंदों की मदद करने में पूरी तरह सक्षम हैं, वो प्लीज सामने आं और अपने नजदीक के अस्पताल के भर्ती किसी मरीज को गोद लें। कम से कम उनकी दवाओं का खर्च खुद उठाएं। अगर आप ऐसा करते हैं तो मैं आश्वस्त करता हूं कि आपकी परेशानियां आधी हो जाएंगी।”
